Proud To Be Moncton’s Lead Choice for Mental Health Therapy
You’re here because you’re ready for support. Maybe you’ve tried therapy before, or maybe you’ve been carrying things on your own and it feels heavier than you’d like to admit. What you’re really looking for is a therapist who understands — someone who will listen without judgment and remind you that you don’t have to go through this alone. At Moncton Counselling & Wellness, we’re here to provide compassionate, down-to-earth care that meets you where you are and helps you move toward where you want to be.
You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone.
What Can Counselling Help Me With?
-
When worry feels constant and your mind won’t stop racing, counselling gives you space to slow down. Together, we’ll find tools to calm your body and thoughts so you can feel more grounded and in control.
-
If you’ve been feeling low, unmotivated, or stuck in heaviness, therapy offers a safe place to talk it through. With support, you can begin to rediscover energy, hope, and small steps forward.
-
Past experiences can leave lasting effects — whether that’s feeling on edge, avoiding certain situations, or reliving memories. Counselling helps you process those experiences at your own pace so healing and safety feel possible again.
-
Conflict, disconnection, or communication struggles can leave you feeling isolated. Therapy helps you navigate challenges, improve understanding, and rebuild stronger, healthier connections with the people who matter most.
-
Our Adjusting to ADHD Counselling offers a structured series of therapy sessions designed to help you understand your ADHD, build self awareness, and develop practical strategies that support your daily life and wellbeing. Each session helps you learn how to work with your brain, not against it, so you can build insight and create lasting change.
What Types Of Counselling Do You Offer?

-

Couples Counselling
No one gets a manual for what a healthy relationship looks like. If you’re struggling with navigating old habits or just trying to figure out the balance of partnership & communication in your relationship, we’re here to help build something that works for both of you.
-

ADHD Counselling
Our ADHD Counselling pathway offers a structured series of therapy sessions designed to help you understand your ADHD, build self awareness, and develop practical strategies that support your daily life and wellbeing. Each session helps you learn how to work with your brain, not against it.
-
Teen Counselling
Being a teenager can feel overwhelming, with pressure from school, friendships, family, and identity. Counselling offers a safe space to unpack anxiety, depression, stress, or change. Together, we help teens build confidence, manage challenges, and feel supported as they grow.
-

Family Counselling
Family is complicated.
When relationships feel tense, strained, or entirely disconnected, we’ll help your family to communicate better, look for common ground, and create healthier patterns that everyone can live with.
-

EMDR
There are some memories that are simply harder to experience—but they don’t have to hold you back forever. Through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, we’ll guide you through processing traumatic experiences so you can begin to heal & move forward.
Meet The Therapists
Here’s How To Get Started.
STEP 1:
At Moncton Counselling & Wellness, we make it easy to get started in therapy with two convenient options tailored to your preferences.
-
If you’re ready to book immediately with your preferred therapist, you can click here to instantly schedule your first appointment via the Jane app.
-
If you’re feeling unsure about where to start or what to expect from therapy, you can start by completing our request form, which will ask you a couple of quick questions about your benefits & coverage and your preferred therapist.
Once we’ve received your information and matched you with a therapist, you’ll be able to seamlessly book your first session (and following sessions) online through the Jane app.
STEP 2:
After booking your session, you’ll complete your intake and consent forms directly in the portal. Please note that these forms must be completed prior to your session to ensure your therapist is prepared to offer the best care.
STEP 3:
In your initial session, we focus on assessment by discussing your unique needs and goals for your therapeutic journey. We’ll collaborate to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs and situation, and your treatment begins from there. All you have to do is show up with an open mind—we’ll be there to support you every step of the way.
No more settling for anything less than the personalized, compassionate therapy you deserve.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
Owner of Moncton Counselling & Wellness + Halifax Counselling & Wellness
After 10 years of working with clients in the mental health field, I’m keenly aware that traditional therapy methods don’t work for everyone. That’s why my fellow clinicians and I don’t settle for the textbook or cookie-cutter approaches. Instead, we draw from various evidence-based modalities to create a custom treatment plan that’s tailored to your unique needs—all to create solutions you can depend on for the long haul.
You can expect us to listen with an empathetic ear, equip you with practical tools for navigating difficult situations in your everyday life, and gently challenge you to grow in ways that feel safe and totally achievable.
It’s about time you felt connected to your truest self and confident in handling whatever life throws at you.
