Five Sessions, One Hour Per Week For Five Weeks- $50 per week + HST
If you're considering joining my CBT skills group for anxiety, expect a supportive and structured environment where you'll learn techniques to manage symptoms. You'll gain insight into the causes and impacts of anxiety on your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We'll identify your triggers and symptoms, helping you develop awareness and challenge negative thoughts. Relaxation techniques will be taught to manage physical symptoms and promote calmness. We'll also work on behavioral activation, engaging in activities that bring joy and a sense of accomplishment. Homework assignments will reinforce your learning and promote progress. Optional group discussions allow for sharing experiences, challenges, successes, and coping strategies, but participation is voluntary. The group dynamic ensures a supportive and non-judgmental environment. While the specific content may vary, the goal remains the same – providing support and effective strategies to manage and alleviate anxiety symptoms.
